Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is turning 10

CEF is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and CINEA will launch various communication activities to highlight how the programme has been fundamental in modernising European infrastructure for transport and energy. CEF beneficiaries will also help us showcase the impact of CEF in promoting growth and competitiveness.

The Horizon Results Booster initiative supports closed and ongoing EU research projects funded by FP7, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. It aims to boost the exploitation potential of research results, disseminate effectively and go to market. Applications are open until 7 May 2024.

Greener aviation is already here!

Aiming at decarbonising the ground airside operations of Paris-Orly airport, the GLORYA #CEFTransport project has recently deployed its two first Pre-Conditioned Air units. The project should be completed by the end of 2025 and will lead to a saving of about 16,300 tonnes of CO2 every year.

'Value of the Month' campaign launched

Following the adoption of the CINEA Staff Core values in November 2023, we launched the ‘Value of the Month’ campaign aiming at strengthening and promoting the 10 core values of CINEA. From March 2024 to February 2025, we will promote monthly each value with a series of events, training and inspiring messages. March is dedicated to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

 
PROVIDE releases its Climate Risks Dashboard

This publicly available tool allows the exploration of future climate change impacts and (un)avoidable risks up to a global scale. Alternatively, you can start locally and explore which actions are needed to avoid climate impacts in your city.

 
CINEA projects at the EU Ocean Days

The EU Ocean Days is a week of events focusing on European maritime topics, which is taking place in Brussels from 4 to 8 March 2024. 21 projects and initiatives funded under four EU programmes managed by CINEA participated in the poster exhibition on 6 March, part of the event “Where next for Europe’s Seas”.
