Next to providing an overview of the activities and results achieved by the WestMED Initiative so far and an outlook for tomorrow, we will also look at the latest developments of the newly formed Mauritanian Maritime Cluster (steps taken and challenges), include a living lab organised by REBOOT-MED and identify project ideas to promote the Blue Economy in Mauritania.

In this event we seek to bring together specialists and other blue economy stakeholders from government institutions , academia, research institutions and the private sector, in order to start a discussion on the possibilities, opportunities and challenges facing building and developing a sustainable blue economy in Libya.
The Sun&Blue Congress is focused on Blue Tourism Innovation. The agenda is tourist-centric. The goal is to focus on tourist satisfaction, quality of experiences, accessibility of services and the long-term sustainability of activities. WestMED's National Hub actively supports the organisation of this event and will also arrange several sessions related to sustainable maritime tourism.
The Black Sea Common Maritime Agenda Stakeholder Conference 2023 is set to take place on 22-23 November in Bucharest, under the auspices of the CMA Romanian coordination.
