Zsofia Sziranyi

Zsofia Sziranyi is a Programme Manager at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Informatics. She is responsible for the Legal interoperability action of the ISA² Programme.

In line with the recommendation of the European Interoperability Framework (EIF) on legal interoperability, Zsofia and her team are committed to screen EU legislation to identify and address interoperability barriers and to make new legal proposals consistent with relevant legislation.

But why to care about legal interoperability and what are the main challenges to make European legislation more interoperable? Zsofia will share her views on these questions in the panel and will briefly present the existing tools and services developed under the Legal Interoperability action.

Before joining the Interoperability Unit in the Directorate-General for Informatics, Zsofia dealt with strategic planning and programming in the European and Hungarian public administrations.

Zsofia holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest and a CEMS Master’s in International Management Degree from the Community of European Management Schools.
