Michal Piechocki

CEO, Business Reporting - Advisory Group

Michal Piechocki serves as a Board Member of XBRL International and the Eurofiling Foundation as well as Chair of the Frankfurt Group Technical Workshop on Data Interoperability hosted by the ECB. He contributes his time to building global, trusted and open financial data ecosystems. Michal is a Member of the Banking and Banking Financial Services Technical Committee at the Polish Normalization Committee, and Delegate for Poland to the ISO Technical Committee 68 – Financial Services and to the ISO Fintech Advisory Group. He serves as a Member of the IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group at the IASB in London. Michal’s professional experience, as the CEO of the Business Reporting – Advisory Group, spans over 12 years of projects in the field of interoperable policies, data and technology for regulatory organisations and governments across Australia, South East Asia, the Middle East, South Africa, Europe, Bermuda, Latin America and the US. He is an author of a number of publications including a book on data standardization and speaker at international conferences.
