Two new modules plugged into IMI

The exchange of information between Railway Safety Authorities on train driving licences will now be supported by IMI in the framework of a pilot project decided in an implementing act.
A new IMI module enabling competent authorities to notify new diplomas has been launched. The use of the system was decided in the context of the revision of professional qualifications directive 2005/36/EC. Notifications of new titles for the 7 sectorial professions will now go online through IMI and become easier to handle both for the Commission and Member States.

Access to IMI

Only registered users can access the Internal Market Information System (IMI).

If you are new to IMI and you want to familiarise yourself with the system, you can use our training system.

Your registration request has to be approved by a national IMI coordinator. Only competent authorities can request registration in IMI.
