To celebrate EU Diversity Month 2026, Eurostat has released a new edition of an infographic highlighting key data on equality and inclusion in the EU

This year’s focus is on the importance of diversity and the representation of different groups in the workplace under the theme ‘Building inclusive labour market for all’.

Did you know that: 

  • 5.1% of men with children work part-time, while this is the case for 31.7% of women with children?
  • 7.6% of men without children work part-time compared with 19.2% of women without children?
  • people with disabilities have a 24.2 percentage point lower employment rate than people without disabilities?
