TSV (tab separated files) can be opened in Microsoft Excel simply by dragging and dropping them into a blank worksheet:

Alternatively, for further customisation options, the data can be imported by clicking ‘Get Data’ > ‘From File’ > ‘From Text/CSV’:

In the pop up dialogue box, navigate to the location that the TSV file is saved, then select that ‘All files’ are shown. Select the TSV file and click ‘Open’:

In the next window, set the delimiter to ‘Tab’ and then load the data:

The data are then viewable in Excel:
