Soeren Schwuchow is a policy analyst at PtX Lab Lausitz, a German public think-and-do tank on the field of hydrogen-based fuels and basic materials. In addition, he is also affiliated with the economics department of Brandenburg University of Technology as an external researcher. His research combines topics from the fields of political and public economics and focuses on the impact of institutions on (international) politics (esp. conflicts) as well as on the interaction between institutions and inequality.
He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Hildesheim and a Master in economics (Diplom-Volkswirt) from the University of Potsdam. His research has been published in outlets such as the European Journal of Political Economy or Public Choice.
