Fredrik Erixon is the founding director of the European Centre for International Political Economy. He's an economist from Oxford and the London School of Economics, and has previously worked for JP Morgan, the World Bank, and two Prime Ministers (in Sweden and the UK). He's the author of The Innovation Illusion: How so Little is Created by so Many Working so Hard (Yale University Press) and his new book on technological change is due to be published in 2024.
