Domibus 5.1.7

Domibus 5.1.7, the latest patch version of the sample implementation of the eDelivery Access Point, is now ready for download. This update brings important security improvements, addresses known issues and ensures continued reliability for users integrating Domibus into their eDelivery infrastructure.

One of the key updates in this release is an upgrade to the CXF library, which addresses a security vulnerability. The update also fixes an issue where some receipt notifications were not being generated correctly. Additionally, logging has been improved, ensuring that large file transfers are properly recorded without unnecessary clutter in the logs.

Domibus 5.1.7 is backward-compatible with Domibus 5.1.6, making the upgrade straightforward and non-disruptive. This release improves performance and reliability, making Domibus more secure and efficient for users. Upgrading to Domibus 5.1.7 is not mandatory, but we highly recommend that all users of Domibus 5.1.x consider updating to 5.1.7 to take advantage of the improvements and enhanced stability.

eDelivery Building Block

eDelivery is a Building Block provided by the European Commission, offering technical specifications, installable software and services for secure digital data exchange across a network of nodes.

Domibus is the sample software provided by the European Commission to implement an eDelivery Service Metadata Publisher for publishing and retrieving data necessary for an eDelivery party to dynamically configure its system for message exchange with other parties using eDelivery. It is based on the eDelivery AS4 profile, an open technical specification for the secure, web-based, payload-agnostic exchange of data or documents. There are numerous other products and services currently conformant with the eDelivery AS4 1.15 profile.
