First eInvoicing webinar of 2024: Join the conversation to shape the future of eInvoicing
The European Commission is happy to announce that the first eInvoicing webinar of 2024 took place on 17 April, and it was a resounding success. The webinar brought together almost 300 professionals from the EU eInvoicing community. It opened the dialogue with all stakeholders to discuss the future of electronic invoicing and offered valuable insights into the uptake of electronic invoicing.
The webinar covered a wide range of topics, from the main findings of the eInvoicing Directive Report published in February 2024, all the way to the future and evolution of eInvoicing policy. In addition, the agenda also included a representative from a Member State on the importance of eInvoicing and its implementation, as well as a presentation from a company addressing its successful eInvoicing implementation.
We collected feedback from you via different sources (i.e., beforehand via the webinar registration form, during the webinar orally, in writing, and via Slido). Approximately 150 users sent comments or questions on the registration form and during the webinar. About 70 users responded to the Slido questions, such feedback illustrates among others, the need for further developments to the eInvoicing Directive and that the broad use of the European eInvoicing standard is important as it ensures a harmonised approach to eInvoicing, etc.
