Further eArchiving specifications and guidelines released for review until 17 January 2021

The Digital Information LifeCycle Interoperability Standards (DILCIS) Board is pleased to announce that the review of the second group of eArchiving specifications and supporting guidelines is now open!

These specifications are a core component of the CEF eArchiving Building Block, and were originally created as part of the E-ARK project and subsequently enhanced and stabilised by the E-ARK consortium in the E-ARK4ALL and E-ARK3 Projects.

This second group of review documents consists of six specifications and the request for comments for version 2.2 of the SIARD standard. The review closes on 17 January 2021.

Further E-ARK specification and guideline documentation will be made available for review in February 2021 and May 2021. Keep your eyes open and support the digital preservation community with your thoughts and insights!
