The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Digital team is pleased to announce that the CEF eTranslation building block can now translate to and from Turkish! This came with the update of a large number of eTranslation's engines in early October 2020.

You can access this service on the eTranslation web-browser page (first time users can register here). Turkish is available in the 'General Text' domain as illustrated below.

CEF eTranslation provides a high-quality machine translation service, covering all 24 official EU languages and more, such as Russian, Mandarin, and now Turkish!

Based on decades' worth of work by professional EU translators, eTranslation brings several unique benefits:

  • Guaranteed confidentiality and security: you have full ownership of your data at all times;
  • Translations tailored to specific sectors: eTranslation includes domain-specific translation engines especially geared towards certain areas (justice, health, etc.);
  • Hassle-free: as well as free text, eTranslation can process formatted documents, leaving everything untouched apart from the translated text.

You can use eTranslation as a stand-alone translation service (for government officials in public administrations in the EU) or integrated into any public sector website, from local administrations to pan-EU projects.
