As for planned production implementations, the Health Emergency Response Agency (HERA) is in the early stages of planning ATHINA, a system for collecting and analysing health threat data. While eDelivery is under consideration, a final decision on its inclusion has not yet been made.  The The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) system, also led by DG TAXUD, is assessing the use of eDelivery's TAPAS implementation for secure communication with the CBAM central platform. The system aims to address carbon emissions transparency for goods imported into the EU.

The Commission will continue to monitor and report on the adoption of eDelivery across EU ecosystems. Further updates on the CBAM system and other potential implementations are expected as more information becomes available.

eDelivery monitoring

The eDelivery monitoring dashboard offers a comprehensive view of the system's adoption and impact. It tracks access points, exchanged messages, interconnected organizations, and overall engagement. The dashboard serves as a valuable resource for stakeholders and the public to understand the technology's progress and potential.

The European Commission monitors eDelivery adoption through internal and public dashboards. There is no formal qualification process for inclusion; projects are added as they are discovered or reported.

eDelivery in data spaces

eDelivery plays a crucial role in the EU's Data Spaces initiative, ensuring secure and interoperable data exchange across various domains. It aligns with the Data Spaces Support Centre's blueprint for data space creation and contributes to building a future-proof, scalable data ecosystem.
