Antonio Tajani, in Sarajevo for the World Meeting for Peace
Monday, September 10, the Vice President of the European Commission, responsible for Industry and Entrepreneurship, Antonio Tajani, will visit Sarajevo, where he will take part in the World Meeting for Peace organized by the Community of Sant'Egidio, which will be held from 9 to 11 September. Together with the Prime Minister Mario Monti and several heads of state, a number of leaders of the world's great religions and personalities from the world of culture and politics will attend the meeting. In his speech in the panel on the role of Europe in the world, the Vice President will stress the importance of peace as a prerequisite for economic growth, prosperity and employment, and will also show how the process of European integration is the most effective tool to establish peace in Europe.
