Antonio Tajani is the new Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship
Antonio Tajani was appointed Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship on 9 February when the European Parliament voted in favour of President Barroso's new commission. The vote was 488 in favour, 137 against and 72 abstaining.
This new website includes information about Mr Tajani's political priorities and initiatives, his team, and forthcoming events that he will attend. The website is currently available in English and Italian; other versions in all official EU languages will follow shortly.
