Antonio Tajani, Commissioner-designate for Industry and Entrepreneurship, was questioned in a three-hour hearing at the European Parliament on Monday 18 January.
In front of members of the industry, research and energy committee (ITRE), the Italian Commissioner-designate for Industry and Entrepreneurship, Antonio Tajani, outlined his views on how to support European enterprises, boost economic growth and improve competitiveness.
During the three-hour hearing, Mr Tajani focused in particular on his commitment to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the evolution of the automotive industry and the space policy, and promoting innovation hand in hand with sustainable development. He also insisted on the importance of the tourism sector for job creation.
