Commissioner Šemeta visits China, Hong Kong and Macau to discuss customs cooperation, trade facilitation, and tackling tax evasion

Algirdas Šemeta, EU Commissioner for Taxation, Customs, Anti-fraud, Statistics and Audit, will be in Asia from 14-17 May 2014.

He will meet his counterparts in China, Hong-Kong and Macau.  In Beijing, he will open the 7th meeting of the EU-China Joint Customs Cooperation Committee. A number of important agreements will be sealed at this meeting.

Algirdas Šemeta, commissaire européen chargé de la fiscalité, des douanes, de la lutte anti-fraude, des statistiques et de l’audit, sera en Asie du 14 au 17 mai 2014.

Il rencontrera ses homologues de Chine, de Hong-Kong et de Macao. A Pékin, il inaugurera la 7e réunion du comité mixte de coopération douanière UE-Chine, qui doit conclure d’importants accords.

Er trifft seine Amtskollegen in China, Hong-Kong und Macao. In Peking soll er das 7. Treffen des gemischten Ausschusses EU-China für die Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet des Zollwesens eröffnen. Bei dieser Sitzung sollen einige wichtige Abkommen verabschiedet werden.
