“Get Together” EAfA networking meeting

The European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) network held its first event of 2020 in Brussels on 13 February. The event gathered over 85 members to discuss various prevalent themes and their work on apprenticeships.

This was the first of a series of events and workshops planned for 2020. It marked the 25th meeting since the EAfA launch in 2013 and demonstrated that the Alliance has developed into a wide and active community of stakeholders.

The event was an opportunity for over 85 EAfA members to examine different key issues of apprenticeships and share experiences.

EAfA members have chosen to address the following key topics: equality, image of apprenticeships, the link between apprenticeships and higher education, skills and the recognition of qualifications as well as the future of apprenticeships.

During this event, the EAfA welcomed the following new members:

  • Accademia Europea di Firenze (Italy) received by Simone Falchi;
  • Agenzia per la Formazione, l’Orientamento e il Lavoro della Provincia di Como (Italy) Cinzia Dalla Riva and Chiara Colombo;
  • Confederación Sindical Independiente – Fetico (Spain) received by Emilia Martin;
  • Serdar Plastik Industry and Co. Inc (Turkey) received by Ozlem Unlu.
