EAfA podcast: The role of social partners in securing high-quality, effective apprenticeships

On 10 October, the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) will publish its third podcast episode, which is part of a series focusing on EAfA’s four objectives: supply, quality, image and mobility.

In our third episode, social partners from European and national levels will come together to discuss how social partners can contribute to ensuring high-quality and effective apprenticeships. The episode will provide a platform to share best practices and discuss key challenges from a social partner perspective. The episode will also shed light on the role of international standard-setting for quality apprenticeships.

The episode will be moderated by Dr Jeff Bridgford, Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King’s College, UK. In this episode, Jeff will be joined by the following guests:

  • Anna Carrero, Deputy Head of Unit, Directorate-General for Employment and Social Affairs, European Commission;
  • Ashwani Aggarwal, Global Work Group Leader (Work-based Learning, Apprenticeships, RPL, Core Skills), International Labour Organization;
