Description of the Organisation:
Mayo Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB) is the leading provider of Further Education and Training (FET) in Counties Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim. It is one of 16 ETBs nationally which, in 2014, combined the services previously delivered through the former County Vocational Education Committees and the training and apprenticeship services previously delivered by FáS/SOLAS. MSLETB delivers programmes in keeping with the national 'Future FET' Strategy 2020-2024. The Strategy is based around three strategic pillars: building skills; fostering inclusion; and facilitating pathways. This will be underpinned by a strong focus on four enabling themes: digital transformation; learner and performance focus; staffing and structures; and capital development. The central premise of the new strategy is that FET is for everyone and will serve as a major driver of economic development and social cohesion.
