Description of the Organisation:
The Campus for marine-related professions and skills (Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications d'Excellence Economie de la Mer) has been launched to create links around a whole ecosystem that exists by and for the sea. It is a tool to promote the professional integration of young people and the development of skills in companies. Supported by the University of Toulon, the CMQ is a state and regional officially approved body. It is a formidable tool for collaboration, job creation and a catalyst for innovation which has the potential to promote the labour market insertion of young people and the development of skills in companies. A wide variety of training institutions and courses are mobilised as part of the project: a university institute of technology (IUT), a university, upper secondary schools, companies and an engineering school. They all provide advanced training covering all activities related to the blue economy.
