Description of the Organisation:
The Valencian Employment and Vocational Training Service (LABORA) is the regional authority and public employment service in charge of labour policies and the development and management of the vocational training programmes in the Community of Valencia. It has specific programmes and activities, such as dual VET programmes and other mixed employment and training initiatives that focus on work-based learning and the value of qualifications for the labour market. LABORA also promotes training in companies for unemployed young peoplewho have professional qualifications either in the educational or labour field, but little to no work experience. The practices are carried out through an agreement signed by the companies and apprentices. Prior to that agreement, the companies must enter into another agreement with LABORA for their development and the pre-selection of candidates.
