The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:Temsa has been operating since 1987 producing more than 10,000 buses, midibuses and light trucks annually. The company has established an apprenticeship class for their employees. The apprentice can experiment working in different departments (electrical, mechanical, paintworks, R&D) with training being given by teachers from universities and vocational schools. The programme is comprehensive including nine auto paint apprentices and 163 employees with apprentice status being designed for both young and middle-aged people without an academic degree. The programme is in accordance with the framework conditions governing the apprenticeship system and meets the provisions of national industrial relations. Temsa participates in collective bargaining with 873 employees, including 163 apprentices being registered with öZ çELİK İŞ SENDİKA, the union determining and regulating employment and working conditions. A contract is made by the union every 2 years.
