Description of the Organisation:
ŠKODA AUTO a.s. belongs to the Volkswagen (VW) Group. The Vocational School of Mechanical Engineering is part of the ŠKODA Academy. The ŠKODA Academy is responsible for the personal development of our employees and for the development of their technical skills and competences. The ŠKODA Academy is responsible for the technical education of students and talent development. The goal of the Academy is to link social and technical competences, transfer know-how and ensure that students are ready for their practical training. To ensure a continued supply of qualified employees, ŠKODA Academy trains more than 1,100 young people per year. This training is combining work and learning with the aim to obtain the different vocational qualifications that the company needs. Every year we have around 300 graduates.
