Description of the Organisation:
Education and Training Boards Ireland (ETBI) is the national representative body for Ireland's 16 regional Education and Training Boards (ETBs). ETBs deliver a wide range of services across many educational levels throughout Ireland, including apprenticeships and traineeships. Working closely with employers, the ETBs develop consortia to create and roll out new apprenticeship programmes as well as to deliver the existing apprenticeships coordinated by the Further Education and Training Authority. ETBI supports ETB's that are developing new work-based learning programmes, and while they are going through the validation and quality assurance processes. Post validation, ETBI supports ETBs in the ongoing enhancement of the programmes via the Monitoring and Enhancement Panel and the Quality Assurance Procedures Handbook.
