Description of the Organisation:
IPC is the global trade association representing the electronics industry since 1957. Its European operations are based in Boulevard du Souverain 280, B- 1160 Brussels, Belgium. IPC is known for its leadership and global footprint in providing standards and quality programs supporting the electronics industry. In this framework, IPC partnered with the industry to develop and invest in training and certification programs and in web-based education tools. IPC is committed to attracting and training a new generation of talent for the global electronics industry. Through its IPC Education Foundation, IPC is supporting the development and distribution of industry-driven curricula and training materials and credential programs for secondary and post-secondary students. The IPC Foundation offers tangible support in the form of funding scholarships, developing hands-on learning, virtual training and skills development programs targeting high school, technical college and university students. The IPC Foundation is thus creating opportunities for the emerging workforce to access jobs and pursue careers in the electronics industry.
