Description of the Organisation:
UGT-E is a trade union confederation founded in 1888: progressivist, committed, vindictive, democratic and independent, it has a significant presence in all sectors of economy and all around the Spanish territory. It is one of the two major trade unions in Spain, and holds a major representation rate as well, which makes the Union a social dialogue first line interlocutor. UGT-E works in the national and the european context of ETUC, and participates at institutional level on the different Training and Education committees established. In this framework, our organisation commits to disseminate and exchange information to promote, improve and strengthen Dual Vocational Training actions within the European trade union movement, and among our counterparts in the European Social Dialogue, as well as consolidate apprenticeships all along Europe.
