Info session: How does the European Alliance for Apprenticeships work?

On 3 July, the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) organised an info session showcasing the benefits of joining EAfA to potential and recent members.

Participants at the event had the opportunity to learn more about the Alliance, its six priorities, the type of support EAfA members can get and who can join. EAfA also shared its planned activities for the rest of this year.

The event featured speakers from the European Commission, such as Anna Barbieri (DG EMPL, Team Leader for apprenticeships and Erasmus+) and Larisa Panait (Blue Book trainee at DG EMPL), Luca Mobilio (Associate Director at Ecorys, contractor responsible for supporting EAfA).

The guest speaker, Petru Vasi Gafiuc, shared with the audience why his organisation joined the Alliance, as well as some of its most recent achievements. He is the president of Bucovina Institute − an adult education provider with a mission to promote community development in northeast Romania, southwest Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.

The session ended with a short presentation on how interested stakeholders can apply to join EAfA.
