Live Discussion: Pact for Skills: Mobilising all partners to invest in skills

On 19 January at 10:30 CET, the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) will organise the live discussion ‘Pact for Skills: Mobilising all partners to invest in skills’.

Launched in November 2020, the Pact for Skills promotes joint action to maximise the impact of investing in upskilling and reskilling. The Pact calls on industry, employers, social partners, chambers of commerce, public authorities, education and training providers, and employment agencies to work together and to create a shared vision and action.

During the live discussion, our guest speakers will share their views on the Pact for Skills, its benefits and potential.

The live discussion will be chaired by Alison Crabb, Head of Unit, Skills and Qualifications at the Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, and it will be moderated by Ecorys expert Andrea Broughton. The speakers will include representatives of the automotive sector, regional authorities, VET providers, large and small companies.

Speakers for this event will include:

  • Jakub Stolfa - Automotive sector
  • A representative of ENEL
