MoveS seminar (Austria): Free Movement of Workers: boon or bane – reflections on grounds of the 50th anniversary of Regulation (EEC) 1612/68
The MoveS network (Free Movement and Social Security Coordination) organised a seminar in Salzburg (Austria) on 15-16 November 2018.
The seminar was organised by MoveS in collaboration with its Austrian expert Elias Felten. MoveS is an EC-funded network of independent experts from 32 European countries coordinated by Eftheia and Deloitte.
This seminar was held in Salzburg during the Austrian EU-presidency and focused on free movement of workers which is is a burning political topic in Austria. In this context, a critical analysis of certain measures set by the national legislator which may conflict with the right of free movement of workers within the EU were carried out.
