On the 3rd of March was held the event Create your digital action plan: take action with SELFIE.

It brought together virtually, school leaders, teachers, students, and other stakeholders like research initiatives on SELFIE or policy-makers. It focused on topics related to the challenges on developing a digital strategy:

• Collaboration and networking: what does this mean and what we can do.
• How to involve students in the discussion about the school’s digital strategy.
• School leaders: what are the difficulties they might face when planning their digital strategy and how to address them
• Remote teaching and learning.
  • Primary education: is it a special case?
  • How did schools addressed challenges of remote teaching and learning

The organizer was DG JRC in cooperation with the DG EAC and the Erasmus Plus projects: R4Change, SHERPA, and SELFIE digital school awards – European pilot project.

Speakers:

There were a total of 870 connections from 31 different countries.

The organisation of the event required the close collaboration of all team members and was the result of two months of work. The event was a success as indicated by the high number of attendees that exceeded the number of registrations.

It confirmed the great interest in SELFIE in Europe and worldwide, and particularly the support that school leaders and teachers are seeking as they move forward with the development of a digital action plan.
