Would you like to participate on a hackathon on the topic of digital capacity of organizations? You can do so at the Digital Education Hackathon.
The event gathered over 100 participants from around the world and allowed us to present the JRC’s work in digital transition in education.
The event was held in Riga (Estonia) on 16 June.
Launched in October 2021, the tool is one of the initiatives of the European Commission’s Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027 to support the digital capacity building of educators.
The online event took part from 18 to 20 May. It was organised by e-Twinning.
Last 10th May, the 1st Congress on Educational and Digital Innovation was held in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia, Spain), which was attended by 700 people, most of them teachers from all educational levels.

The Teachers' Training Centre of Mérida (Extremadura, Spain) organised an official training course for teachers in the region.
SELFIE was part of the #DigitalEdForum, the first major European event on Digital Education organised by the European Commission.
The event on digital education reforms in Moldova took place on 17-18 March.
On March 9th, our colleagues César Herrero and Lilian Weikert García participated in the second training session of the DeCoDe programme in Cantabria (Spain).
The SELFIE team organised an interactive, participatory workshop on the afternoon of November the 17th of 2021, to support schools to develop a Digital Action Plan and to act after doing their SELFIE reflection.
The SELFIE for work-based learning webinar was held on Tuesday 22 February, an event where the opportunities offered by the new module of the SELFIE tool were presented.
On October 7th and 8th we will bring the SELFIE community together in the second SELFIE Forum, which will take place online.
We welcome you to a new edition of the SELFIE newsletter announcing our annual event that takes place on the 7-8 October. Although, we would have liked to meet with you in person, due to COVID-19 restrictions, this edition will run online. The SELFIE Forum is always a great opportunity to meet with different stakeholders related to the SELFIE tool. You will have the opportunity to listen to great keynote speakers, meet policy makers and network with other teachers and school leaders who might be facing the same challenges as you in their school’s digital integration, amongst other attendees. In this edition of the Forum, we will also launch the Work-Based Learning module and also present to you a new tool specifically designed for teachers: SELFIEforTEACHERS. In June 3rd, 2021 the first SELFIE hackathon took place in Ukraine. The event lasted 4 hours, and the action plans the schools were creating were accessible at the same time for other schools to see.
90 schools attended a recent webinar titled "SELFIE assessed schools: approaches to digital action planning", organised by The Digital Schools Awards European pilot programme.
The main objective of the event was to present SELFIE, listen to users' experiences and learn how the tool had helped them in their digitalisation plans.
