Measuring food waste in the Greek hotel sector: testimonials from participating hotels

As part of the completion of the «STOP-WASTE Project - Measuring food waste in the Greek hotel sector» (101112173 — STOP WASTE — SMP-FOOD-2022- FWStakeholders-AG), which is co-funded by the European Union (Granting authority: European Health and Digital Executive Agency - HADEA), this document encompasses the views and impressions of various staff members in the participating hotels about how the implementation of the Stop Waste tool in their daily processes has contributed in understanding the impact from their operations and, in most cases, led to significant reduction of the amount of generated food waste. (Since the consent provided by staff for their photos was limited to internal reporting purposes -to the EU- only, we had to blur their faces and cover their names.)
