The objective of this project is to identify current initiatives and best practices, policies and regulations, current drivers, market needs, opportunities, capabilities and enablers for reducing food waste and food loss in Southern European countries: Türkiye, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Malta & Cyprus.

The outcome of this project is a report that aims to be a useful tool, compiling bes practices, success cases, results and recommendations for companies, research
centres, policymakers, public bodies and authorities in Southern Europe countries.

In other words, our ultimate goal is to develop and disseminate valuable outcomes for food waste reduction policy-making.
