JUST KEEP IT is a new app that simplifies zero-waste cooking. It offers a calendar and a grocery list of super simple and delicious recipes, ready in 30 minutes, to help you eat a balanced, seasonal, and waste-free diet all year round.

The app was created by the authors of the book "Zéro gaspi !" (Zero Food Waste) (ed. Larousse), who found that meal planning and shopping represent a major mental burden for consumers. They also found that many people are tempted to turn to ultra-processed products, which are unhealthy and unsustainable.

JUST KEEP IT is designed to be easy to use and affordable. It offers two vegetarian menus per week, and is suitable for tight budgets. The app also works in conjunction with a cookbook "JUST KEEP IT: les recettes #zerogaspi", which provides more detailed recipes and tips.

Here are some of the key benefits of using JUST KEEP IT:

  • Reduce your mental load. The app takes care of meal planning for you, so you don't have to spend time thinking about what to cook each day.
  • Eat a balanced, seasonal, and waste-free diet. The app's recipes are designed to be nutritious and sustainable. They also use seasonal ingredients, which are more affordable and better for the environment.
  • Save time and money. The app's recipes are quick and easy to make, and they are suitable for tight budgets.
  • Support a good cause. The profits generated from the sale of the cookbook are donated to the non-profit organization of the authors (Nurtantio Projects), which promotes a healthy, sustainable, and fulfilling lifestyle. The association organizes cooking workshops for single mothers depending on social aid.
If you are looking for a way to simplify your life, eat healthier, and reduce your environmental impact, then JUST KEEP IT is the app for you. It is available today on the Play Store and the App Store in French & Dutch.
