Presentation of food waste monitoring, prevention technology solutions for the catering sector

Miesto Laboratorija is a Vilnius based NGO working in the field of catering, community development and environmental education. Through innovative technological and technical solutions Miesto laboratorija is challenging food waste prevention problem in the catering sector. In January 2023 Miesto laboratorija started an EU funded project “Food Waste Prevention and Awareness Raising” (No 101111865) to measure food waste in the cafeteria. In this presentation all the initial step-by-step monitoring and prevention technology solutions are described.
