EuroScience Open Forum - ESOF 2024

The pan-European event is organized every two years in a different European city, highlighting European research and mutual leaning. It is a transdisciplinary science conference initiated in 2004, that aims to bring together scientists, policy makers and all other people interested in science and technology. The upcoming edition will be held in Katowice, Poland.

The upcoming edition will be held in Katowice, Poland, which was crowned the 2024 European City of Science. ESOF and European City of Science are part of an EU co-funded and REA-managed grant.

Annual World Conference on Research Integrity – WCRI 2024

The WCRI is the primary global conference on Research Integrity and Responsible Conduct of Research. Seven conferences have been held since 2007, the latest in South Africa in 2022. High-level business mission to Kazakhstan

EU Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski will visit Kazakhstan on 27-31 May 2024, accompanied by a business delegation of senior representatives from the EU agri-food sector, in conjunction with the European Commission’s presence at Interfood Astana Fair. The purpose of this visit is to facilitate European agriculture food and beverage exports to Kazakhstan and expand their presence in the market. Interested applicants are welcome to register by 17 January 2024.

 
High-level Mission to Kazakhstan

EU Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski will visit Kazakhstan on 27-31 May 2024, accompanied by a business delegation of senior representatives from the EU agri-food sector, in conjunction with the European Commission’s presence at Interfood Astana Fair. The purpose of this visit is to facilitate European exports to Kazakhstan and expand their market presence. The registration deadline for interested applicants is 26 January 2024.

 
Coming soon: EU Open Day 2024

EITHOS is one of the EU-funded projects that will be present at this year’s edition of the EU Open Day. On this occasion, EU institutions open their doors to visitors, who can discover many different educational and fun activities, including EITHOS’ deep-fakes detection tool. EU presents irresistible EU agri-food at Anuga Select China

On 24-26 April, the EU will be present at the food fair Anuga Select in Shenzhen - China, to promote the safety, quality, authenticity and sustainability of European agri-food, as part of the campaign “Irresistible Europe. Countless combinations”. The EU Pavilion will host workshops on Geographical Indications and organic products, cooking shows, and tasting sessions featuring over 200 European produce.

The European Citizen Science (ECS) project, funded under Horizon Europe, is organising a platform launch event designed to benefit the citizen science community and a cluster event on data practices, services and infrastructures in citizen science on 24 and 25 April 2024.
