Register for the EU Missions Info Days

The 2023 calls for proposals on the EU Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’ are expected to open on 17 January, as well as other EU Missions calls for proposals. Potential applicants are invited to attend a virtual Info Day on 17-18 January dedicated to the five EU Missions to learn about the topics under the next calls for proposals open for funding, and how to prepare a quality proposal to request EU funding.

 
The 2022 Agricultural Outlook Confererence

Are you interested in how to achieve sustainable agri-food systems? The EU Agricultural Outlook conference is the flagship annual event for broad exchanges among stakeholders on market prospects in agriculture. This includes discussion of the political framework and uncertainties surrounding market developments in the next 10 years. Registration is open now. This event will be streamed online as well.

 
EuroGEO workshop: Towards an integrated and convergent EuroGEO

Registrations for the event are now closed. This year, the event will take place on 7-9 December, in Athens (Greece). Participants can find out now the full program available online. This edition will bring national governments, organizations and the European Commission to prepare and strengthen the next journey for EuroGEO post-2025.

International Conference on Research Infrastructures 2022

The International Conference on Research Infrastructures, or ICRI, will be held on the 19-21 of October in Brno, Czech Republic. The event is part of the Czech Presidency of the Council and is co-hosted by the European Commission. Attend for the chance to discuss international cooperation in research infrastructures.

 
EuroGEO workshop: Towards an integrated and convergent EuroGEO

This edition aims to contribute to reinforce EuroGEO and to optimise Earth observations technologies and stewardship in order to respond and adapt to global challenges. The workshop this year will take place in Athens, Greece. Participants can contribute to present their developed tools or applications serving EuroGEO’s objectives as a poster and through active engagement in the sessions, including the EuroGEO Action Groups. Deadline for posters is 28 October.

 
The European Research Executive Agency offers sessions dedicated to the Green Transition at the European Regions and Cities Week

In one session, the European Commission’s Urban Green Platform will be launched which includes crucial guidance, as well as a toolkit to support cities in developing and implementing their Urban Greening Plans (UGPs). In another session, participants will learn about the role that historic districts play in addressing the climate crisis, as well as innovative solutions needed to transmit their values to future generations.

 
REA at the European Regions and Cities Week

On 13 October, the European Commission is launching the Urban Green Platform with crucial guidance to support cities in developing and implementing their Urban Greening Plans (UGPs). On the same day, a session is also dedicated to answer questions on EU-funding opportunities.

Attend the 10th edition of the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF)

ESOF 2022 will be held in Leiden, The Netherlands from the 13th to the 16th of July. The event aims to tackle some of the world’s biggest ongoing challenges by strengthening trust and generating active participation in science. Leiden will also host the European City of Science.

 
The Agri-Food Promotion Policy Review conference

The European Commission held a conference on the review of the promotion policy for EU agricultural products on 12 and 13 July 2021. The conference was part of a comprehensive consultation process with stakeholders and civil society. The presentations are still available to watch.

MSCA Cluster event on Mission Ocean and Waters

The event will bring together excellent projects and researchers mainly funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) to discuss how research and innovation could help restore and protect our oceans and waters. John Murray Roberts, coordinator of the EU-funded project iAtlantic, will speak in the panel about how to protect and restore marine and freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity. Conference on the Future of Europe

On the 29th and 30th of April, the final plenary of the Conference on the Future of Europe was held. Citizens’ proposals will be presented to the presidents of the conference on Europe Day, the 9th of May. The Conference has been a year-long process of deliberative democracy, bringing together citizens and politicians to debate the EU’s future. Stay tuned!
