The EU has invested over €900 million in Cluster 6 projects advancing transformative change towards circular and bio-economies. A more robust bioeconomy could help the EU accelerate its progress towards a low-carbon economy. ️The Festival will focus on the youth and its leading role in the transformation process. The event will be hybrid and registration is already open.
In the Climate Emergency era, the bioeconomy has the potential for climate mitigation, carbon neutrality, biodiversity restoration and sustainable industry. The main event will take place in Brussels (and web streamed), and REA will be present in a booth to answer questions from visitors on funding opportunities and more. EU projects advancing bioeconomy will take part in the Brussels event and in satellite events organised across Europe.

The EU Organic Awards consist of 8 awards in 7 categories, recognizing individuals and organizations in the organic industry who have created outstanding, innovative, and sustainable projects that add value to organic production and consumption. The 3rd edition applications open on 4 March 2024.
The easyRights project introduces a new methodology set to become a standard for supporting the integration of non-EU immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees. The event will bring together representatives of member states and European institutions and will be streamed online.

The Science and Technology Options Assessment (STOA) Panel on the research integrity challenges of Open Science is scheduled to take place at the European Parliament on 21 February 2024, with participation of REA-funded projects. More details to be announced soon!
Horizon Europe uses lump sum funding to reduce administration and financial errors. Lump sums make the programme simpler by removing the need to report actual costs.
