Subject to the adoption of the 2020 Annual Work Programme of the Internal Security Fund – Police (ISF-P), the European Commission intends to publish early in the summer a call for project proposals focusing on the protection of public spaces with a budget of €12 million.

The objective of the call is to offer funding opportunities for innovative projects with a clear EU added value that improve the protection of public spaces, in particular places of worship.

Activities to be funded should be in line with the Action Plan to improve the protection of public spaces. They may also address emerging threats to public spaces.
