In case you recently joined us, this is a quarterly newsletter where we share the latest updates on enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and relevant research by the ECAT team, colleagues within the European Commission, and the wider research community.

Last month marked two years since the launch of ECAT, providing a good opportunity to reflect on our journey since then. We have now grown to almost 40 full-time members, focused on supporting DSA enforcement in myriad ways; undertaking platform investigations, providing guidance and convening expert groups for delegated acts, conducting research on the long-running impacts of algorithms and online platforms - and much more. The work wouldn't be possible without close the collaboration with our colleagues within the Commission, primarily in DG CNECT, as well as with the community of researchers across Europe and beyond.

In the past few months, we've continued to support the ongoing investigations, as well as worked on the guidelines on minor protection currently under consultation. You can find us at a number of academic conferences over the summer, giving tutorials on data access under the DSA - find more on this below.
