This is a summary of the TEDAM activities related to regional economic monitoring of the EU funds (REMO) and to the use of the RHOMOLO model in the second half of 2023 and beginning of 2024.

On the policy side, RHOMOLO results were included in the ex-post impact assessment of Horizon 2020 published by DG RTD in January 2024. In the same month, the RHOMOLO-EIB model results were used to produce key figures of the 2023 EIB Group annual results. 

This Newsletter also lists a number of publications, including modelling articles related to cohesion policy in Regional Studies, The Annals of Regional Science, Spatial Economic Analysis and Research Policy, and related to innovation policy in Economic Systems and Socio-Economic Planning Sciences.

Finally, the TEDAM team took part in two international conferences sponsored by the JRC in August (ERSA, in Alicante) and September 2023 (AISRE, in Napoli), and in the European Week of Regions and Cities in Bruxelles in October 2023, where new features of the Territorial Economic Data viewer (TEDv) were presented.
