ECAT was launched last year as part of the European Commission, to support the enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA) with technical expertise, and conduct research on the long-running impact of algorithmic systems to inform policymaking and the public discussion. 

In this newsletter, we’ll share regular updates about our research and work, and you'll get a chance to meet the ECAT team. You'll also find insights and opportunities from the wider algorithmic transparency community, whose efforts are so essential to our mission.
