Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) comprise 20 conditions that disproportionately affect 1 billion people in impoverished communities worldwide. Mobile health solutions have been used to aid and speed up diagnosis of NTDs. But despite notable advances in technology to support diagnosis, there is a gap in global diagnostics, specifically in quality, reliability, accuracy, and timeliness.
