ENV - Survey launched by DG GROW: impact-driven businesses in the European Union

Your voice matters: contribute to DG GROW’s new EU-wide study by 20 February to ensure biodiversity-focused businesses are properly represented in future policy.

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) has launched a new study to better understand impact-driven businesses across the EU, including how they operate, the business models they use, and the barriers and enablers they face. The study is being carried out by WYG and will directly inform future EU-level policy and legal frameworks.

This is a valuable opportunity to highlight the specific challenges, support needs, and enabling conditions for businesses working with and for nature.

The online survey takes up to 15 minutes to complete, depending on the respondent category, and is open until 20 February 2026. We encourage all those interested to participate.
