Experts and members of the Dinaric-Balkan-Pindos Platform have developed a handbook for the monitoring of large carnivores in the region. It gives detailed advice on how to initiate and manage a large carnivore monitoring programme, adequate methods and also introduces the LCIE Monitoring Standards for Large Carnivores.
