The European Climat Pact is an initiative of the Green Deal that invites different stakeholders, from individuals to organisations, to make a pledge taking steps in their on world to build a more sustainable Europe. To support organisations with the implementation of their pledge the European Commission refers to EMAS as a premium tool to systemise environmental action.
