Amid the wreckage, residents of Ukrainian cities and towns are lacking basic mobility. Cars are no longer an option with ruined roads. The city of Lviv, in particular, has over 150,000 Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in need of transportation. Bikes allow people to transport food and medicine, travel to school or jobs, and get critical medical care.
