The one-year project has been funded by the German Federal Environment Ministry’s Advisory Assistance Programme (AAP). It aims to set up a secretariat and carry out two plenary meetings of a Dinaric regional platform for large carnivores. The first meeting of the Platform was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia 16-17 November. The participants, largely managing authorities from the region, discussed good practices from different regions including presentations on the EU and regional platforms and concrete steps for setting up a platform in the Dinaric region.
